It is a two tone and is bone stock other than the wheels and a shift knob. the gauge cluster lights go on and off when they want to but im working on fixing that soon. Almost everything is either original or an oem Nissan replacement part. It is a fun, reliable daily driver. I was driving it back and forth to Birmingham with no problems up until I bought my new vehicle. Mechanically, it´s about as good as Z´s get. Cosmetically, there are some projects that have been on my list, but never bothered me enough to worry with. I always worry about aftermarket junk on vehicles like this. The only mechanical alteration is the addition of camber adjusting tension rods in the front suspension. The cars didn´t come from the factory with any adjustment for camber. The bars fix that. My priority with this Z was always to maintain reliability and performance. If you´re looking for a reliable daily driver, that also happens to be incredibly fun to drive, this is it. I just top it off at oil changes.- Crank angle sensor and mass airflow sensor have both been replaced in the last 7000 miles. - Diehl Nissan recently did a full inspection. The paperwork shows that everything checked out, but they recommended changing shifter bearings. They´re a little loose, but it doesn´t both me. - Clutch pedal squeaks from wear on a connecting pin. Its perfectly safe, but when it squeaks when its humid outside.- On cold winter mornings a bearing somewhere gets too tight and whines until warm. I had it checked a few years ago and they said not to worry about. It will surprise you though if you´re not ready for it.- Front bumper was broken by the state emissions inspectors in Texas. Bumper looks pretty bad. A replacement from Nissan is about $500. Non-Nissan bumpers are less. - Paint shows its age. Normal chips and wear. It´s never been wrecked since I´ve had it, but I don´t have a full history prior to 78,000 miles when I bought it. Email me to request more pictures. Craigslist only allows the 4 small ones. Details: This is a great example of on of the classic Land Cruisers! It only has 150,XXX miles! They are hard to find with low miles but will run forever. This FJ62 comes with newish 33´ tires and a medium OME lift kit with shocks and steering stabilizer. Th interior and headliner are in nice shape for the age. The 4WD works perfectly in HI and LO as it does in all of these Cruisers. It never has any trouble starting up and always runs cool. The few issues with the truck are: faded paint on the roof (even though it is really too tall to see with the lift), the dash pad has a crack in it, the oil gauge is dead (I have hooked up a mechanical gauge and it has normal oil pressure) the windshield has a crack and a few chips but they are not too bad and have not gotten worse (the windshield passed inspection at the DMV) and the only spot of rust is on the hood, there is NO RUST any where else. I would guess that the frame was sprayed or painted with something at some point because it has a black coating on it and no rust. All the speakers are aftermarket and there is a head unit in it with an iPod hook up. It will probably need a new antenna in the future but the motor works, the mast is just bent. The drivers seat has the typical tear and hole in it that are common with all of these trucks. I am asking $8500 but I am open to offers.Let me know if you have any other questions or want any other specific pictures. Details: This is a great example of on of the classic Land Cruisers! It only has 150,XXX miles! They are hard to find with low miles but will run forever. This FJ62 comes with newish 33´ tires and a medium OME lift kit with shocks and steering stabilizer. Th interior and headliner are in nice shape for the age. The 4WD works perfectly in HI and LO as it does in all of these Cruisers. It never has any trouble starting up and always runs cool. The few issues with the truck are: faded paint on the roof (even though it is really too tall to see with the lift), the dash pad has a crack in it, the oil gauge is dead (I have hooked up a mechanical gauge and it has normal oil pressure) the windshield has a crack and a few chips but they are not too bad and have not gotten worse (the windshield passed inspection at the DMV) and the only spot of rust is on the hood, there is NO RUST any where else. I would guess that the frame was sprayed or painted with something at some point because it has a black coating on it and no rust. All the speakers are aftermarket and there is a head unit in it with an iPod hook up. It will probably need a new antenna in the future but the motor works, the mast is just bent. The drivers seat has the typical tear and hole in it that are common with all of these trucks.
